Boarding Facility for Dogs and Cats
What a better place to board your pets: the Folsom Veterinary Hospital
Folsom Veterinary Hospital
boards dogs and cats.
We have strict requirements for the boarding of your pet to ensure premium protection from illness for your animal and all others that are in our facility.
We exercise the animals three times daily in an outside run area to stretch their legs and “do their business.”
We have a veterinarian available in case your pet needs medical attention.
24 hour security and fire alarm
Medications can be administered by our technicians, if needed, for an additional charge.
If we have not seen your pet before, we require a well exam prior to boarding to familiarize our veterinarians with your pet.
Fecal and giardia tests are required for all our guests prior to boarding. This is to ensure the health of all boarding animals and our staff
All vaccines must be current for all animals that will be guests of Folsom Veterinary hospital. For dogs this means: DHLPP or DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella. For cats this means: FVRCP and Rabies vaccines.
Dogs or cats that have high risk medical problems i.e. seizure disorder, diabetes, etc. are not put in general population. They will be here under a monitoring fee*. It is more expensive but, this way our trained technicians can make sure they have the best care possible.
